We met the Clow family in Fort McMurray. My wife Loraine and Jeff worked at the same school. Jeff and I played hockey together and our families were close knit. My son and MacKenzie were born the same year, and were classmates until the Clow's moved East to PEI. I had the pleasure of coaching MacKenzie on the Little League Rep team when the boys were 9. MacKenzie was very competitive, and I loved this about him, you wouldn't think that at this age, kids would really care about winning or losing, but Mac sure did. He was one of a kind.
